Welcome to the Capacity Conversations Podcast. This is what I like to call a “sister-friend” community, which is the safe space to talk openly and honestly about the challenges we face while managing the competing priorities between our personal and professional lives. Welcome to the Flow and Flourish Podcast. Many of us are either in corporate, an entrepreneur of a combination of the two, on top of being moms, wives, caregivers, big sister’s or just the go-to person in our circles of friends and families. After spending over 18 years in Corporate America, I, like many other women of color, came to the painful realization that it’s not set up to support us. However, we have the power to change that by having transparent conversations.
This has fueled my work as both an HR leader and Capacity Coach, as I’ve made it my mission to help as many women and business as possible to understand how our professional lives are impacted by what’s going on in our personal lives.
In today’s episode, I talk openly and honestly about my experience as an HR leader and being a Black Woman. I share tips on
